The Preschool Classroom Staples List

A free guide from learnplayrepeat

What I keep, reuse, and reach for.

There are supplies I set out every day, materials I keep tucked away until a good idea calls for them, and a few classroom favorites that return season after season. I put them together in The Preschool Classroom Staples List so you can take a look inside my real preschool classroom—and decide what might work in yours.

A peek inside my classroom

Start at the art table, then look through our block area, dramatic play, science and discovery, calm and cozy space, and math and manipulatives. The final pages open my cupboards: art materials, science ingredients, sensory bins, and the small things I save because I know we’ll use them again. You’ll find checklists, classroom photos, and little notes about how I use and rotate materials.

Keep what fits your classroom.

This is a look at my classroom, not a shopping assignment. Notice what you already have, what children keep reaching for, and what might make play easier in your own room. The materials can change with their interests, the season, and the space you have.
